What the job is

Virgin Active South Africa is looking for certified and passionate Personal Trainers to build their own fitness business inside Virgin Active’s top-quality gyms. This role is based in Edenvale, Gauteng, and allows you to work independently while using Virgin Active’s brand, facilities, and business support to grow your client base.

What you will do

You will provide one-on-one or small group personal training sessions to clients. You will be responsible for attracting and keeping your own clients within the gym. You must maintain a professional and visible presence on the training floor at all times. You will also conduct free introductory sessions for new gym members. Additionally, you will handle your own business tasks, such as managing bookings, schedules, and administrative work, while ensuring the gym environment remains safe, clean, and motivating.

What you need

You must be a certified Personal Trainer with an NQF Level 5 qualification or higher. You should have strong business skills and the ability to manage yourself effectively. A friendly and professional attitude is essential, along with excellent communication and motivational abilities to inspire clients.
