These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Recruitment Room platform ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share accounts or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

3. Employer responsibilities

Employers may post genuine job vacancies only. You must not post roles that do not exist, mislead candidates about compensation or working conditions, discriminate unlawfully in job listings, or use candidate data for purposes other than recruitment. Each listing must include a valid contact method and accurate location information.

4. Job seeker responsibilities

Information you provide in your profile and applications must be accurate and not misleading. You may not apply to roles you have no intention of pursuing, scrape or automate interactions with the platform, or misrepresent your qualifications.

5. Prohibited content

You must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Recruitment Room platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. You retain ownership of content you post (CVs, job descriptions, etc.) but grant us a limited licence to display and process it for the purposes of operating the Service.

7. Payments

Employer subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in advance. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time and access will continue until the end of the current period.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings or the suitability of candidates. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
