What the job is

Virgin Active is looking for certified and passionate Personal Trainers to run their own fitness business inside Virgin Active’s high-quality gyms. This is a self-employed role where you will work as a tenant, using Virgin Active’s facilities and brand to grow your client base. The position is based in Edenvale, Gauteng.

What you will do

You will provide one-on-one or small group personal training sessions to your clients. You will be responsible for attracting and keeping your own clients within the gym. You must maintain a professional and visible presence on the training floor at all times. You will also offer free introductory sessions to new gym members. Additionally, you will handle your own business administration, including bookings, scheduling, and promoting a safe and motivating environment.

What you need

You must be a certified Personal Trainer with an NQF Level 5 qualification or higher. You should have strong business skills and the ability to manage yourself effectively. A friendly and professional attitude is essential, along with excellent communication and motivational abilities.
