What the job is

What you will do

You will prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and cost variance analysis. You will process all invoices for the distribution center (DC) and track expenses against the budget. You will also manage workforce planning, including timesheets, overtime records, and relationships with temporary employment service providers. Additionally, you will handle procurement tasks like ordering supplies, managing supplier relationships, and participating in requests for proposals. You will lead a team of admin clerks, ensuring smooth finance and procurement processes for two DCs in Cape Town. You will also suggest cost-saving ideas and improve workflows.

What you need

You must have a B.Comm or BTech degree in Accounting or Cost Accounting. You need at least 5 years of relevant experience, including managing people. Experience with warehouse management systems like Oracle, SAP, or Logfire is required. You should be skilled in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential. You must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
