What the job is

This is a Compliance Auditor position at takealot.com, working for Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) in Johannesburg, Gauteng. TFS is a leading e-commerce logistics company in South Africa that uses advanced technology to handle over 30 million orders every year. The role involves ensuring that drivers and pickup points follow company rules and standards to maintain high service levels.

What you will do

You will conduct field audits to check if independent contract drivers and their vehicles meet compliance standards. If a driver fails the inspection, you will remove them from their shift. You will report audit results to hub owners, managers, and franchise teams, highlighting areas that need improvement. You will also visit Pick n Pay Takealot Pickup Points weekly to support operations, ensure policies are followed, and solve problems to improve customer service. Additionally, you will create reports in Excel or Google Sheets, analyze trends, hold review meetings, and monitor compliance with company procedures. The work hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 AM to 8 PM.

What you need

You must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate, and a diploma (NQF Level 4) would be an advantage. You need at least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in franchise or hospitality, and prior auditing experience is beneficial. You should be skilled in Microsoft Office or Google tools and have a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You must be proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
