What the job is

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI to join our team at iOCO in Johannesburg. This is a 12-month contract role where you will work closely with business stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insights that support decision-making.

What you will do

You will design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. You will gather and understand business reporting needs and translate them into effective data visualizations. You will extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, build and maintain Power BI data models, and write SQL queries for data extraction. You will also ensure data accuracy, perform quality checks, and present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you need

You need proven experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst with strong hands-on skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL. A relevant degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field is required. You should have a good understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and the ability to work with large datasets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
