Trainee Store Manager - Western Cape

What the job is Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for Trainee Store Managers to join their team in the Western Cape. This is a permanent job where you will learn and grow into a management role. The company wants to build a group of skilled people ready for future jobs in their stores.

What you will do You will help manage the store, especially in areas like stock, sales, and customer service. Your tasks will include: - Making sure stock is well managed and matches what is on the system. - Helping with promotions and displays in the store. - Assisting with daily cash-ups and financial reports. - Supporting the team to meet sales targets. - Handling customer complaints and improving service. - Helping with staff scheduling and training. - Taking part in learning programs and workshops to grow your skills.

What you need - A Matric certificate. - At least 1 to 2 years of experience in retail store management, including handling stock, cash, and customer service. - Basic computer skills, especially in MS Office. - Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays. - A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport. - A clear credit and criminal record. - South African citizenship.
