Trainee Store Manager - Western Cape

What the job is Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for Trainee Managers to join their stores in the Western Cape. This is a training program to prepare you for a future management role. You will work in different parts of the store to learn how it runs. The job is based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

What you will do - Help manage stock, including ordering, counting, and making sure items are on the shelves. - Assist with setting up promotions and displays in the store. - Help receive and check new stock when it arrives. - Work with the team to meet sales targets and make sure customers are happy. - Assist with daily cash-ups and financial reports. - Help manage staff schedules and leave requests. - Support customer service by handling complaints and helping with loyalty programs. - Take part in training sessions and complete tasks to learn on the job.

What you need - Matric certificate. - At least 1 to 2 years of experience in retail, especially in stock management, cash handling, or customer service. - Basic computer skills, like using Microsoft Office. - Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays. - Valid driver’s license and your own car. - South African citizen with a clear credit and criminal record.
