What the job is
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for Trainee Managers to join their team in the Garden Route area, Western Cape. This is a full-time job where you will learn how to run a store under the guidance of an experienced manager. You will help with daily store operations and work towards becoming a store manager.

What you will do
You will help manage stock, including receiving goods, counting stock, and making sure stock levels are correct. You will assist with setting up promotions and displays for products like food, health, and beauty items. You will help with cash-ups, scheduling staff, and making sure customers are happy. You will also support the store manager with financial tasks, staff training, and keeping the store clean and organized. You will work with different teams to meet sales targets and improve the store.

What you need
You must have a Matric certificate. You need at least 1 to 2 years of experience in retail store management, including handling stock, cash, and customer service. A Diploma in Finance, Administration, or a related field is required. You must be good with computers, especially MS Office. You need a valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport. You must be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays. You must be a South African citizen with a clear credit and criminal record.
