What the job is

This is a Technical Coordinator position at Fidelity Services Group, based in George, Western Cape. It is a permanent job within the Fidelity ADT division, focusing on supporting technicians and clients in the Western Cape region.

What you will do

You will collect and check quotes for the assigned area and ensure they are recorded in the Listener system. You will assign quotes to technicians and prioritize calls to optimize their travel time. Your duties include scheduling jobs efficiently based on location and capacity, contacting clients to confirm appointments, and assisting sales with technician bookings. You will also handle aged jobs, provide pipeline figures for installations, and assist with stock control, including issuing and distributing stock to technicians. Additional tasks involve following up on technical issues, resolving scheduling queries, and providing technical and EHS assistance to clients and team members.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience is required, and you should be proficient in using MS Office. Experience with the Listener system is an advantage. You need to be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
