What the job is

This is a Technical Coordinator position at Fidelity Services Group, based in George, Western Cape. The role is permanent and focuses on managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations in the technical department.

What you will do

You will collect and check quotes on the Listener system and assign them to technicians. You will prioritize and schedule jobs efficiently to optimize travel time and ensure technicians are assigned based on location and capacity. You will contact clients to schedule and confirm appointments, assist sales with technician bookings, and handle aged job voids and pipeline figures. Additional duties include managing stock, assisting with technical invoicing, distributing service and installation stock, following up on job queries, and providing technical support to clients and technicians. You will also assist with EHS tasks and ensure all documents are handed to the Technical Manager for allocation.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. You need at least 2 years of administrative experience and strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy, especially in MS Office, is required, and experience with the Listener system is a plus. You should be able to manage multiple tasks, resolve scheduling issues, and work efficiently in a team environment.
