What the job is

Fidelity Services Group is hiring a Cash Centre Auditor to work in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role involves checking that cash handling, counting, and record-keeping processes are done correctly and consistently across the company’s branches and cash centres. The auditor will ensure that all cash-related activities follow company policies and standards.

What you will do

You will perform regular, surprise, and special cash counts and audits at different branches and cash centres. You will compare physical cash with official records to find any differences or mistakes. You will review cash-counting procedures, reconciliations, and documentation to ensure they meet company rules. You will identify weaknesses in controls, report irregularities, and suggest improvements. You will also work closely with branch and cash centre managers to strengthen cash control processes.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and at least 2 to 3 years of experience in cash centre operations, auditing, cash management, or a related field. Experience in cash-in-transit, cash processing, or security services is a plus. You need a valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information are essential.
