What the job is

This is a Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Weaver Fintech Ltd, a fast-growing fintech company based in Wynberg, Cape Town. The role is part of the People Team and focuses on finding and hiring the best talent to support the company’s growth.

What you will do

You will manage the entire hiring process, from planning and sourcing candidates to selecting, making job offers, and onboarding new employees. You will work closely with department leaders to create hiring strategies that match the company’s goals and culture. Your tasks will include posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and negotiating job offers. You will also build a talent pipeline for future needs, represent the company at career events, and ensure all hiring practices follow legal and company policies. Additionally, you will track hiring metrics, update job descriptions, and improve recruitment processes to attract top talent.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. You need at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including 2 years in contact center recruitment. Experience in fintech, financial services, or digital technology is a plus. You should be skilled in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other recruitment tools. Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
