What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Territory Manager specializing in Retail (Consumer) products at Pharma Dynamics (Pty) Ltd. The role is based in the Johannesburg East Rand area and focuses on promoting and selling over-the-counter (OTC) and front-shop consumer healthcare products in pharmacies.

What you will do

You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets for Pharma Dynamics’ consumer product range in your assigned territory. This includes implementing marketing and sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and conducting product training for pharmacists and staff. You will analyze sales data to identify opportunities, maintain detailed records of customer interactions, and organize workshops or training sessions. Additionally, you will monitor competitor activity, provide feedback on marketing strategies, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Travel within the territory, including trips to Nelspruit and other Mpumalanga regions, will be required.

What you need

You should have a proven track record in sales and customer management, preferably with experience in the retail pharmacy environment, especially with consumer brands (OTC and front shop). A business degree or related tertiary qualification is preferred, but a matric certificate with a relevant sales or business diploma is also acceptable. Strong relationships with key pharmacies in the allocated territory will be an advantage. You must be able to work independently, manage budgets, and collaborate with regional teams to drive business growth.
