What the job is

This is a full-time Marketing Manager position at Core, based in Sandton, Gauteng. The role focuses on leading marketing strategies for small and medium businesses (SME) and the education sector within a technology and retail company.

What you will do

You will develop and run marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales for the SME and Education markets. This includes managing digital and traditional marketing, working with agencies and creative teams, and planning events. You will also track campaign performance using tools like GA4 and UTM tracking, manage marketing budgets, and ensure all activities follow legal and brand guidelines. Additionally, you will oversee website content, social media, and customer communications.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. You must have 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail, technology, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Experience in SME, B2B, or education sectors is a plus. You should be skilled in managing digital campaigns, analyzing data, and working with agencies. Strong project management, budgeting, and leadership skills are also required.
