What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Marketing Lecturer at Rosebank International, part of Advtech, located in Pretoria, Gauteng. Rosebank International is a well-known private higher education institution that has been providing quality education for over 70 years. What you will do

You will teach marketing modules to students based on the course requirements and timelines. You will prepare students for assessments by tracking their progress, identifying those who need extra help, and managing student support. You will also develop assessments in collaboration with the Central Academic Team. Additionally, you will update the learning management system, provide feedback to students, and attend academic meetings. You will analyze student results to improve teaching methods and support at-risk students. You will also complete professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills.

What you need

You must have a Degree, Honours, or Masters in Marketing, with a specialization in Business-to-Business Marketing. You need at least 2 to 3 years of lecturing or formal tutoring experience. Industry experience in marketing is a plus. You must have a qualification one level higher than the course you will teach. You should also have a copy of your academic transcript. Strong knowledge of South Africa’s higher education system and teaching methods is required. You must be able to work with digital learning platforms, adapt to changes, follow rules, meet deadlines, and manage your time well.

What you will get

The salary is market-related. This is a permanent position with classes scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The exact hours will depend on the modules you are assigned to teach.
