What the job is

This is a Loan Administrator position at Pepkor Lifestyle, a company in the financial services industry. The job is based in Sandton, Gauteng, and is a permanent role. You will be part of the Finance team, working to manage loan accounts and ensure smooth transactions for customers.

What you will do

You will handle loan transactions such as disbursements, cancellations, settlements, refunds, and reconciliations accurately and on time. You will investigate and resolve customer queries, making sure all actions follow company policies and legal requirements. You will also identify and fix issues in account management, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you will communicate professionally with customers, both in writing and verbally, to manage their expectations and provide clear feedback.

What you need

You need a Matric certificate and a Diploma in Banking or Financial Services. At least 2 years of experience in loan administration or financial account management is required. You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in MS Excel and SAP (preferably the CML module). You must be detail-oriented, good with numbers, and able to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of financial products, internal controls, and regulations is also important.
