What the job is

This is a Legal Advisor position at Sun International, based in Sun City. The company is looking for someone to handle legal matters and ensure all business contracts are properly managed and compliant with company policies.

What you will do

You will draft, review, and finalize business contracts for different parts of the company. This includes analyzing bids and proposals to make sure all agreements with customers, vendors, and business partners are legally sound and follow company rules. You will also identify and manage risks related to contracts and escalate issues when needed. Additionally, you will ensure that all contracts protect the company’s legal and commercial interests.

What you need

You must have an LLB or LLM degree or an equivalent qualification. You need at least 5 years of experience in corporate legal advising, specifically in managing business and commercial contracts in a similar environment. Experience with procurement processes and managing relationships with business partners is a plus. Strong skills in negotiating, drafting contracts, legal research, and understanding corporate governance are required. You should also have knowledge of laws and regulations related to the hospitality industry.
