What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Digital Channels Manager at Botswana Savings Bank in Gaborone, Botswana. The role focuses on leading the bank’s digital services, including Internet Banking, Mobile App, USSD, and ATMs. The manager will develop strategies to improve customer experience and ensure all digital platforms are secure, reliable, and easy to use.

What you will do

You will create and implement the bank’s digital strategy for Mobile App, Internet Banking, USSD, and ATMs. You will manage the product roadmap, prioritize new features, and drive customer adoption of digital services. You will oversee the ATM network, including performance, cash management, and maintenance. You will track digital channel performance using data, manage projects with IT and vendors, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. You will also improve customer experience, manage vendor relationships, and lead a team of supervisors.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or professional certifications being an advantage. You must have at least five to seven years of experience in digital banking, product management, or a related financial services role, including two years in a management or supervisory position. Strong knowledge of digital banking technologies, ATM operations, and project management is required. You should also have excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
