What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Claims Assessor specializing in Gap Cover at Moladira Skills, based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The role involves processing and assessing healthcare-related claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

What you will do

You will accurately capture and process paper Gap claims into the iMed system. You will review and assess claims, verify documentation, and ensure all required information is complete. You will communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to gather necessary information and resolve queries. You will also reconcile claims, correct errors, and ensure payments are made to the right parties. Additionally, you will assist with training, handle call center tasks, and maintain detailed records of all claims and assessments.

What you need

You need at least 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, short-term insurance, credit data capturing, and claims processing. A Matric certificate and RE5 qualification are required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and numerical skills are essential. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant systems, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
