What the job is
We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect to work in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will design and deliver AI solutions for businesses. What you will do
- Design AI systems that work well for businesses.
- Work with teams to build and deploy AI solutions.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and explain how AI can help.
- Create plans for how businesses can use AI over time.
- Make sure AI solutions are secure and follow rules.
- Help with sales by explaining AI solutions to potential clients.
- Train and guide other team members on AI best practices.
- Work with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to build AI solutions.
- Design data systems that support AI, like storage and retrieval methods.

What you need
- 7 to 12 years of experience in technology, data, or solution design.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working directly with clients.
- Experience leading AI or data projects.
- Knowledge of AI tools like LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
- Experience designing systems that use AI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, but AWS or Google Cloud also work).
- Understanding of data engineering and how data flows in AI systems.
- Ability to explain technical ideas to business leaders.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
