What the job is
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will work with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to build AI solutions for businesses. This role is part of our Data & Analytics team and focuses on helping clients in banking, insurance, and other industries use AI to solve problems.

What you will do
- Design and build AI tools like chatbots, document readers, and data analysis systems.
- Create systems that help computers understand and use large amounts of data.
- Work with cloud services to set up and manage AI tools.
- Build data pipelines to prepare and organize information for AI use.
- Make sure AI systems are secure, reliable, and follow company rules.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and explain how AI can help.
- Help with presentations, proposals, and training for clients and team members.
- Improve how we deliver AI solutions to make them faster and better.

What you need
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with AI, machine learning, or data solutions.
- Experience with AI tools like chatbots, data search systems, and document processing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Skills in programming (Python), data handling, and setting up AI systems.
- Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical people.
- Experience working with clients or in a consulting role is a plus.
