What the job is

This is a full-time Account Manager position at Motorvaps, a leading company in the automotive industry. The job is based in various cities across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Motorvaps specializes in providing value-added products to car dealerships, and they are looking for someone to build strong relationships with dealerships and help them grow their business.

What you will do

You will manage relationships with car dealerships, including Dealer Principals, F&I Managers, and sales teams. Your main tasks will be to grow sales, increase product use, and expand market share for Motorvaps products. You will also analyze dealership performance, provide training to dealership teams, and keep track of industry trends. Additionally, you will represent Motorvaps at industry events and ensure dealerships see you as a trusted partner.

What you need

You must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, sales, marketing, or dealership relations. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within your assigned region are required. Experience in the automotive, insurance, or financial services industry is a plus. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
