This job is for a Wholesale Trader at Ellahi Consulting, based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. The company specializes in importing and exporting seafood. The role focuses on growing sales to wholesale customers, working full-time with a six-month probation period, reporting to the Wholesale Sales Manager. Responsibilities include increasing sales and profits by managing and developing a list of assigned customers, negotiating prices, understanding customer needs, and ensuring correct order handling. Must track stock levels, identify slow-moving products, and report on sales performance. Experience in sales, trading, or business development (preferably in food/wholesale) is required, along with strong CRM, negotiation, and numerical skills. Matric (Grade 12) and preferably a qualification in sales, business, or marketing are mandatory. The position offers standard working hours (08:00-16:45, Mon-Fri) with opportunities for career growth in the seafood industry.
