What the job is

This is a job for a Warehouse Inbound Manager at BCE FoodService Equipment in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The role involves overseeing all incoming warehouse activities, including receiving goods, managing stock, and leading a team to ensure smooth operations.

What you will do

You will manage the daily receiving of supplier deliveries, ensuring all stock is checked, labeled, and processed correctly before being stored. You will oversee inventory control, conduct regular stock counts, and investigate any discrepancies. You will also handle credit and returns processes, maintain warehouse records, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety. Additionally, you will lead and train the warehouse team, set performance targets, and monitor productivity to improve efficiency.

What you need

You need a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or management role. You should have strong experience in receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management, as well as knowledge of warehouse safety and OHSA requirements. Experience with an ERP or Warehouse Management System and good computer skills are also required. You must be hands-on, decisive, and able to motivate your team while maintaining high standards.
