What the job is

This is a full-time, on-site Telesales Agent position at Evolution Group in Sandton, Gauteng. The role is based in a call centre and involves making and receiving calls to sell Evolution Finance’s home improvement loan product. This loan can be used at over 600 hardware stores across the country.

What you will do

You will contact new and existing clients by phone, email, WhatsApp, or other digital channels to sell the company’s loan product. You will explain the features, benefits, and terms of the loan clearly and professionally. You will handle both incoming and outgoing calls, update customer information accurately in the system, and process applications for campaigns. You will also assist with after-call requests like servicing, disbursements, and answering queries. Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets is a key part of the job. You must follow all industry regulations, such as NCA, FICA, and POPIA, and handle objections while closing sales effectively. Building strong client relationships through follow-ups and after-sales service is also required.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Fluency in English and at least one other African language is required, along with basic computer skills (MS Office). You should have 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in a call centre, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, such as listening to recordings while capturing data. A certification in Financial Literacy or Financial Management is a plus.
