What the job is

This is a job for a Store Coordinator at Pedros, a restaurant company. The position is based in Paarl, Cape Town, Western Cape. You will be part of a new store opening, helping to build a strong team and a great customer experience from the start.

What you will do

You will greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, whether in person, through the drive-thru, or for online pickups. You will present food and drinks neatly and on time, making sure orders match receipts and special requests. You will keep the counter, dining area, and presentation stations clean. You will follow food safety and hygiene rules at all times. You will work with kitchen staff to ensure orders flow smoothly. You will also restock items like cups, lids, sauces, and napkins and handle minor customer concerns politely.

What you need

You should have strong communication and customer service skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You need to manage your time well, multitask, and work as part of a team. Basic cash-handling and POS skills are required, along with problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, and you should be able to work independently with good leadership and organizational skills.
