This job is for a Point of Sale Administrator at Pedros, a well-known restaurant chain. You will be based in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves managing and maintaining the company’s point-of-sale (POS) systems and digital ordering channels to ensure smooth operations for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and managing POS systems, including Oracle Micros Simphony, across all Pedros stores.
- Creating and updating menu items, prices, promotions, and discounts.
- Configuring store setups, workstations, printers, and employee access.
- Managing digital ordering channels like Uber Eats, Mr D, and the Pedros app.
- Ensuring consistency of menus, prices, and promotions across all platforms.
- Following strict change-control processes for updates and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Maintaining detailed records of changes and creating staff guides.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with POS and online ordering systems in a restaurant, fast-food, or retail setting.
- Experience with Oracle Micros Simphony is preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing menus and store listings on platforms like Uber Eats and Mr D.
- Understanding of menu structures, pricing, discounts, payment methods, and taxes.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL/reporting tools.
- Attention to detail and adherence to processes.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between sites.
