We are looking for an Intermediate SQL Developer to join the iOCO team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This is a contract role where you will work on developing and maintaining database solutions for Toyota and other clients in the data division. The position is perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and working both independently and with teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain SQL-based systems supporting business operations
- Create and optimize database structures, stored procedures, and functions
- Assist with daily BAU tasks and ensure smooth data processes
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems
- Participate in testing, deployment, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a SQL Developer
- Strong T-SQL skills (stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning)
- Experience with SSRS is a plus
- Understanding of relational database design, normalization, and optimization
- Comfort with large datasets and complex data transformations
- Familiarity with source control systems and Agile methodologies
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team
