What the job is

This is a Solutions Architect position at Araxi Group, working under the Dariel business unit in Bramley, Gauteng. The role involves designing and leading the development of large-scale software solutions for clients, ensuring their business needs are met with high-quality, scalable technical systems.

What you will do

You will lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions for businesses. You will provide technical guidance to development teams and participate in hands-on coding to ensure the solutions match the planned architecture. You will translate business requirements into technical designs that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will define and enforce best practices, architectural standards, and design patterns. You will also engage with clients to present solutions, gain their approval, and mentor team members to improve their technical skills.

What you need

You must have at least 8 years of experience in C# development and software engineering, along with a strong background in enterprise-level solution architecture. You should understand object-oriented programming, design principles, and architectural patterns. Experience with relational databases and .NET frameworks is required, as well as the ability to design systems that meet non-functional needs like performance and scalability. A relevant degree or diploma, including Matric Mathematics (Higher Grade), is necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
