What you need

You need a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. You must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in solar energy design, sales, or a similar technical role. You should understand how solar power systems work and be skilled in using design software like PVsyst or Helioscope. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings are also required. Knowledge of the South African renewable energy sector and CRM software is a plus.
