Payroll Administrator

A well-known company in the construction industry is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, near the Durban International Airport. The company needs someone who is detail-oriented with experience in payroll work to manage employee payments and records.

Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate and timely payment of all employee salaries - Maintain employee records including personal details, tax information, and employment status changes - Comply with South African payroll laws including tax deductions and government submissions - Process payroll calculations including salaries, overtime, bonuses, and site worker timesheets - Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll information

Requirements: - Qualification in Payroll Administration, HR, Accounting, or related field - Proven experience in payroll processing and government reporting - Knowledge of South African payroll legislation - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Good communication skills - Construction industry experience is advantageous
