What the job is

This is a Social Media Manager role at Make it Good, a creative agency based in Knysna, Western Cape. The company works with local and international brands, helping them find their unique voice and create impactful social media strategies. The job is based in Knysna, but you can start remotely for the first three months before relocating.

What you will do

You will develop and manage social media strategies for multiple clients, ensuring they align with brand goals and key performance indicators. You will plan and oversee monthly and quarterly content calendars across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Your responsibilities include creating content from concept to publishing, managing client accounts, and leading monthly client meetings to discuss performance and strategy. You will also collaborate with teams to ensure campaigns stay on track, assist with paid social ads, and analyze data to improve content performance.

What you need

You need at least five years of experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in an agency setting handling multiple clients. You should have a proven ability to create social strategies and content that deliver measurable results. Experience with content creation and scheduling tools like Sprout or Figma, as well as paid social and Ads Manager, is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent copywriting, and client-facing communication are essential. You must be based in or willing to relocate to Knysna and legally able to work in South Africa.

What you will get

The salary ranges from R30,000 to R40,000 per month, depending on experience, and includes a lucrative bonus structure (up to three times your monthly salary). The role is permanent and offers hybrid work after the initial three-month remote period.
