This is a Senior Brand Strategist position at a top independent creative agency in South Africa. As a Senior Brand Strategist, you will develop strong brand and communication strategies by analyzing research, data, and consumer insights. You will create clear and powerful strategic ideas, write compelling briefs, and guide campaigns. Your role includes building strong client relationships, leading strategic discussions, and collaborating with creative teams, client service, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution. You will take ownership of strategic projects, identify opportunities, and solve challenges independently.

Requirements include at least 8 years of agency strategy experience, with 3+ years in a senior position. Strong curiosity about people, culture, and business, along with the ability to simplify complex problems into creative solutions, is essential. Excellent storytelling, presentation skills, and strategic judgment are required, along with the confidence to challenge assumptions. Proactivity, independent work, and a track record of high-quality work are key. Provide 2-3 examples of past strategic work (case studies or presentation decks with confidential details removed).

The role offers a competitive salary of R55,000 to R60,000 per month (negotiable on a cost-to-company basis) and a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
