What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Showroom Manager at homechoice, a well-known South African homeware retailer. The job is based at the Springs Mall Showroom in Springs, Gauteng. homechoice has been helping customers create beautiful, affordable homes for over 40 years, and this role is key to maintaining that reputation.

What you will do

You will manage the daily operations of the showroom to meet sales targets and ensure excellent customer service. Your duties include leading the team to improve sales performance, coaching staff on upselling and customer engagement, and ensuring promotions and visual merchandising are executed correctly. You will also handle financial management, stock control, and compliance with company policies. Additionally, you will manage customer complaints, train new employees, and maintain high operational standards in the showroom.

What you need

You must have at least 5 years of experience in a retail or sales-driven environment and 5 years of experience leading and managing teams. A Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent is required, and a tertiary qualification in Retail, Sales, or Marketing is preferred. Strong computer skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are essential. You must also have a clear credit and criminal record.
