Service Technician

What the job is A company that works with industrial ventilation and engineering solutions needs two Service Technicians. One job is in Parow, Western Cape, and the other is in Edenvale, Gauteng. You will service, maintain, repair, and install equipment like industrial fans and HVAC systems. You must be good at your work and keep customers safe and happy.

What you will do - Do regular maintenance on equipment. - Find and fix problems quickly and safely. - Install and look after electrical systems for HVAC and engineering projects. - Work with engineers and other technicians to make sure systems work well. - Talk to customers about their service needs and any problems they have. - Keep your tools and workspace clean and tidy. - Follow all safety rules and quality standards. - Travel to customer sites when needed.

What you need - At least 5 years of experience as a service or maintenance technician. - A trade qualification, preferably as a qualified electrician (Red Seal). - Experience with industrial ventilation, HVAC, or similar engineering work. - Good mechanical skills and ability to find faults. - A valid driver’s license. - Experience with refrigeration is a plus. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work alone or in a team. - Physically fit and willing to travel for work. - Must live in or near Parow (Cape Town) or Edenvale (Gauteng).

What you will get - A salary between R180,000 and R240,000 per year, depending on experience.
