Service Technician

A company that works with industrial ventilation and engineering solutions needs two Service Technicians. One job is in Parow, Western Cape, and the other is in Edenvale, Gauteng. You will fix, maintain, and install equipment like industrial fans and HVAC systems. You must be good at your job and keep customers happy.

What the job is You will work as a Service Technician. Your main tasks will be to service, repair, and install industrial ventilation and HVAC equipment. You will travel to customer sites to do this work.

What you will do - Do regular maintenance on equipment. - Find and fix problems quickly and safely. - Install and look after electrical systems for engineering and HVAC projects. - Work with engineers and other technicians to make sure systems work well. - Talk to customers about their service needs and any technical issues. - Keep your tools and work area clean and tidy. - Follow all safety rules and quality standards. - Travel to customer sites when needed.

What you need - At least 5 years of experience in a servicing or maintenance technician role. - A trade qualification, preferably as a qualified electrician (Red Seal). - Experience with industrial ventilation, HVAC, or similar engineering work. - Good mechanical skills and the ability to find and fix faults. - A valid driver’s licence. - Experience with refrigeration is a plus. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work well alone or in a team. - Physically fit and willing to travel for work. - Must live in or near Parow (Cape Town) or Edenvale (Gauteng).

What you will get - A salary between R180,000 and R240,000 per year, depending on experience.
