What the job is

What you will do

You will recommend ways to improve maintenance work and provide guidance to the maintenance team. You will solve daily technical problems and give technical advice and support when needed. You will test and evaluate changes to see if they work well. You will also improve fault-finding methods and manage projects, including overseeing contracts. Ensuring the safety of equipment and employees is part of the job, as well as supervising staff.

What you need

You need a National Diploma in a technical field with 240 credits at NQF Level 6. You must have at least 3 years of experience in technical services. Important skills include leadership, coaching, teamwork, and problem-solving. You should also know about safety regulations, project management, SAP systems, contracts, and quality control. Strong communication and supervisory skills are required.
