What the job is
You will be in charge of SQL Server databases used for production, testing, development, and disaster recovery. You will work with developers and other IT teams to keep everything stable and secure.

What you will do
- Set up, fix, and update SQL Server databases.
- Watch how the databases are doing and make sure they have enough space.
- Fix problems like slow performance, failed jobs, or database errors.
- Create and manage systems that keep databases available even if something breaks.
- Set up backups and test them to make sure data can be recovered.
- Improve how fast databases run and help developers write better queries.
- Manage security, permissions, and encryption for the databases.
- Write scripts to automate tasks and make work easier.
- Plan for future growth and make sure the databases can handle more data.
- Work with Azure SQL if needed.
- Write down how things work and teach other team members.

What you need
- At least 10 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in big companies.
- Experience making databases run faster and fixing performance issues.
- Good skills in writing SQL code and understanding how queries work.
- Experience with backups, recovery, and keeping databases available.
- Knowledge of security, encryption, and how to protect data.
- Ability to solve problems and work well with others.
- Can work on your own and handle many tasks at once.
