What you will do Make sure the company follows all medicine laws in South Africa. Watch for changes in rules and tell the team how it affects the business. Work with government officials and other important people. Prepare and send documents for new medicines, changes to existing ones, and renewals. Answer questions from government about these documents. Keep track of all medicine information and updates. Help with launching new products. Check labels, packaging, and ads to make sure they follow the rules. Work with other teams like marketing, supply, and manufacturing. Teach and guide other team members. Help make the work process better and faster.

What you need You must have a pharmacy degree. You must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council. You need at least 5 years of experience in regulatory work in the pharmaceutical industry. You should have at least 2 years of experience as a regulatory pharmacist. You must know about SAHPRA rules, how to submit medicine documents, and how to manage medicine information. You should have sent medicine documents to the government before. Experience with document systems like DocuBridge is a plus. It is good if you have led or trained others before.
