What the job is
A well-known pharmaceutical company in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist. This person will help make sure the company follows all the rules for medicines and healthcare products. You will work with a team to handle paperwork, keep up with new laws, and support the registration of products.

What you will do
- Make sure the company follows all the rules set by SAHPRA and other laws.
- Keep track of changes in rules and tell the team how it affects the business.
- Work with government officials and other important people.
- Prepare and submit paperwork for new products, changes, renewals, and transfers.
- Answer questions from regulators and fix any issues they find.
- Update product information like labels, packaging, and instructions.
- Keep records of all submissions and documents.
- Help with launching new products and managing existing ones.
- Check that all advertising, labels, and packaging follow the rules.
- Work with teams like Marketing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
- Guide and support other team members in Regulatory Affairs.
- Help improve processes and make work easier.

What you need
- A degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council.
- At least 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist.
- Good knowledge of SAHPRA rules, paperwork for submissions, and how to register products.
- Experience with systems like DocuBridge or eCTD.
- Experience working with regulators is a plus.
- Leadership or mentoring experience is helpful.
