What the job is

This is a contract position for a Senior Project and Programme Manager at iqbusiness South Africa, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The company is looking for an experienced professional to manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects and programmes in a complex, multi-vendor environment.

What you will do

You will lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, from analysis and design to build, testing, deployment, and support. You will manage multiple related projects and workstreams as part of a larger programme. Your role includes setting up and running programme governance, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth integration, data migration, testing, and cutover across platforms. You will also track project progress, manage risks, and facilitate meetings and workshops.

What you need

You must have at least 10 years of project management experience, with significant time spent at a senior level. You need proven programme management experience, including oversight of multiple projects, governance, budgets, and benefits tracking. You should have delivered multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and be familiar with Microsoft methods like Sure Step or Success by Design. A PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification is required, and a degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or related fields is advantageous. Agile certifications are a plus.
