What the job is

This is a Senior Manager position at Pedro's, a well-known restaurant chain. The job is based in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, and is part of an exciting new store opening. You will be joining a dynamic team to help launch and grow the store from the start.

What you will do

You will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and takeaway, ensuring food quality and company standards are met. You will manage stock control, purchasing, and orders, as well as handle customer complaints to maintain high service levels. Your role includes maximizing profitability, meeting sales targets, and motivating staff. You will also manage staff schedules, discipline, and performance, while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed. Additionally, you will lead marketing activities, handle customer service relations, and conduct staff training and performance evaluations.

What you need

You must have at least 3 years of experience in restaurant or fast-food service. Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is an advantage. Strong management, organizational, and customer service skills are required. You should also have good verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
