What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Senior Financial Wellness Consultant at Bayport Financial Services in East London. The role focuses on helping corporate employees improve their financial health by offering guidance and solutions.

What you will do

You will evaluate the financial situations of corporate employees and provide them with loan or debt consolidation options. You will educate employees on good financial habits, such as managing debt and saving money. You will also promote Bayport’s financial products and services to support the company’s growth and profitability. Additionally, you will work closely with employees to address their financial challenges and offer practical advice.

What you need

You must have a Level 7 qualification in Finance, Commerce, or Marketing, or an NQF Level 4 qualification with at least 5 years of experience in loan sales at Bayport. Strong people skills and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly are essential. You should have a good understanding of personal finance, debt, and savings. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of one or two African languages is a plus. A valid driver’s license (Code B) is also necessary. Experience in debt counseling, debt rehabilitation, or credit industry knowledge is preferred.
