What the job is
This job is for a Sales Development Team Manager. The company is looking for someone to lead their sales team in South Africa. You will start by managing an existing team that works from another country. Later, you will build and lead a new team in South Africa. The job is based in Johannesburg but you can work from home sometimes.

What you will do
Manage the current sales team that works from another country. Set goals, check performance, and make sure the team meets its targets.
Build and lead a new sales team in South Africa. Hire, train, and help the team grow.
Improve the sales process using data and tools like LinkedIn and email.
Test new sales strategies yourself before teaching them to the team.
Use tools to find potential customers and reach out to them through emails and LinkedIn.
Work with other teams like Customer Success and Marketing to share insights.
Track and report on team performance and sales experiments.
Create training materials and improve sales documents.

What you need
At least 4 years of experience in sales, especially in outbound sales like cold calling and email campaigns.
Experience leading or coaching a sales team.
Good at sales and can show others how to do it.
Experience selling to marketing or sales leaders is a plus.
Knowledge of sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist, and HubSpot.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
