What the job is
This job is for a Sales Development Team Manager. You will work remotely from anywhere in South Africa. The company wants someone to lead their sales team. You will first manage an existing team based overseas. Later, you will build and lead a new team in South Africa.

What you will do
Manage the current overseas sales team. Set targets, check performance, and make sure the team meets its goals.
Build and lead a new sales team in South Africa. Hire, train, and coach new team members.
Improve the sales process. Use data to make the team’s work better.
Test new sales strategies yourself before teaching them to the team.
Use tools like LinkedIn and email to find and contact potential customers.
Work with other teams like Customer Success and Marketing to share insights.
Track and report on team performance and sales experiments.
Create training materials to help the team learn and improve.

What you need
At least 4 years of experience in sales, especially in outbound sales.
Experience leading a sales team or coaching others.
Good at finding and contacting potential customers through calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
Experience selling to marketing or sales leaders is a plus.
Knowledge of sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Lemlist.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
