This is a full-time Sales Consultant position with Fidelity Services Group, based in East London, Eastern Cape. The company specializes in security and investigation services, and you will be part of the Fidelity ADT team, focusing on selling security solutions to customers in the Eastern Cape region.

As a Sales Consultant, your main job will be to sell armed monitoring and response services, which provide security solutions to customers. You will also promote and sell upgrades for alarm systems, CCTV cameras, electric fences, and other security products to meet the changing needs of clients. Your role will involve setting and achieving monthly sales targets by actively working to satisfy customers and close deals.

You will be responsible for finding and converting new leads, both from your own efforts and those provided by the company. Building strong relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other industry partners will also be part of your work. You will need to report your daily, weekly, and monthly progress to ensure you meet your sales goals. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks related to sales, making sure all paperwork and follow-ups are done correctly.

To qualify for this job, you should have previous sales experience, especially in selling products like security equipment, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Knowledge of alarm systems such as IDS, DSC, or AJAX will be helpful. You must have at least a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification. Being registered with PSIRA at Grade C is also required.

You should be self-motivated, energetic, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential. You must be comfortable using computers, email, and the internet. A professional appearance, a valid driver’s license, and access to your own reliable vehicle are also necessary. A strong interest in finding new business opportunities, especially in electronic and technical security products, is required.
