What the job is: This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated person to join Managed People Solutions as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant Intern in Polokwane, Limpopo. What you will do: As a Sales and Merchandising Assistant, you will travel with sales representatives on their daily routes to observe and assist with sales activities. Your tasks will include helping to meet sales targets by supporting the team in various ways. You will also be responsible for ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively on shelves and in-store promotions, including stocking shelves, arranging products, and ensuring everything looks inviting to customers. Another important part of your role is assisting customers by helping them find products, answering questions, and building positive relationships. You will also learn how to handle promotions, discounts, and in-store events effectively.

What you need: To be successful in this role, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with customers and team members regularly. A positive attitude, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility will help you thrive in this position. You must be willing to learn, take initiative, and work well with others. A passion for sales, customer service, and merchandising will make you a great fit for this role. Since the position requires full-time commitment, you need to be available for the entire 12-month programme, including the busy festive season in December.
