This is an internship opportunity for Junior Merchandiser offered by Managed People Solutions in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape. The role is designed for young, unemployed TVET students who have completed their N6 Certificate and need to complete their 18-month workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. The internship aims to provide practical skills and industry experience to help improve job readiness.

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining product displays in stores. Your tasks will include checking stock levels, ensuring products are well-presented, verifying product details, and following a merchandising schedule. You will also handle customer feedback, track merchandising activities, and report issues to your supervisor. Calls will be part of your assigned cycle to follow up on tasks.

To qualify, you must be under 28 years old, have completed your N6 TVET Certificate in Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management, and be based in or willing to relocate to Plettenberg Bay. No prior merchandising experience is required, but strong communication skills and a retail interest are essential.

The internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500 for 18 months, providing hands-on experience in the wine and spirits industry. Ideal for those starting a career in retail or related fields.
