What the job is: This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated person to join Managed People Solutions as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant Intern in Cape Town. What you will do: As a Sales and Merchandising Assistant, you will travel with Sales Representatives on their daily routes to observe and assist with sales activities. You will help ensure products are neatly displayed and well-stocked in stores, making sure shelves and promotions look attractive to customers. Your tasks will also include supporting customers, answering questions, and building positive relationships with them. You will learn how sales targets are set and achieved, as well as how merchandising and in-store promotions work. Working as part of a team, you will contribute to meeting sales and merchandising goals while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

What you need: To succeed in this role, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with customers and team members regularly. A positive attitude, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility will help you thrive in this position. You must be willing to learn, take initiative, and work well as part of a team. A passion for sales, customer service, and merchandising will also be important. Since this is a full-time internship, you need to commit to completing the entire 12-month programme, including working during the busy December festive season.
